Dear Families,
The District was notified of ten (10) positive cases of COVID-19: one (1) at Ben Franklin, one (1) at Horace Mann, three (3) positive cases at the Indiana Area High School, and five (5) positive cases at East Pike. Five (5) out of the ten (10) positive cases will be attributed to the District’s 14-day rolling average. The Department of Health (DOH) worked with the school nurses and administration and concluded that thirteen (13) additional student/staff members are required to be quarantined. Any questions regarding quarantines should be directed to the Department of Health at 1-877-PA-HEALTH (1-877-724-3258).
I want to personally thank you all again for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work through this pandemic.
