Dear Families,
The District was notified of nine (9) positive cases of COVID-19: two (2) at the Indiana Area Junior High School, one (1) at Horace Mann, one (1) at the Indiana Area Senior High School, two (2) at Ben Franklin, and three (3) positive cases at East Pike. Five (5) out of the nine (9) positive cases will be attributed to the District’s 14-day rolling average. The Department of Health (DOH) worked with the school nurses and administration and concluded that eight (8) additional student/staff members are required to be quarantined. Any questions regarding quarantines should be directed to the Department of Health at 1-877-PA-HEALTH (1-877-724-3258).
I want to personally thank you all again for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work through this pandemic.
