Dear Families,
I wanted to follow up on the vague threat that I made you aware of last evening. Chief Schawl has informed me that the threat does NOT apply to Junior High or any school in our District. He informed me that “Our officers have investigated the threat report by conducting interviews with staff and students and collaborating with other law enforcement partners. As you had accurately asserted, this threat has impacted other locations and school districts as well. Based upon our investigative efforts we do not believe the communicated threat is timely or targeted to an Indiana School.”
The Borough police will still have a presence today to reassure that everyone is safe. I just wanted to say thanks for everyone’s cooperation and understanding in the matter. Have a terrific weekend.
